What a Teacher Wants, What a Teacher Needs provides the supplies you need to create a safe, meaningful, and engaging classroom. You designate the supplies you need and we do our best to fulfill your needs. However, we are not able to give you the funds to purchase the supplies on your own.

What a Teacher Wants, What a Teacher Needs relies on donations from the community to purchase classroom supplies. We do our best to ensure that all teachers have at least some of the supplies needed to create a safe, meaningful, and engaging learning environment as funds are available.

You can request supplies as often as you want from What a Teacher Wants, What a Teacher Needs. Supplies will be provided based on funds available through donations from the community.

What is the difference between requesting supplies and having a profile page?

Both options allow you to request supplies from What a Teacher Wants, What a Teacher Needs. However, having a profile page enables you to highlight yourself and your needs to donors and potential donors.

Teachers who choose to have a profile page agree to provide a photo of themselves, additional information, and to interact with donors and potential donors on their page.
